Horizon Electronic Security LLC was founded in 2007 by Marc Singletary Sr., Terri Singletary, and Jon Singletary Jr.
Today we are proud to still be a small, family operated business doing big things in the door hardware and access control industries.
Marc Singletary
Marc started in the locksmith industry in the 70’s and began his hardware career. Marc educated himself on electronics and became one of the most technically advanced designers and installers in the industry. He played integral roles in large and complex system design and implementation as well as new product development. Sadly, Marc passed away on June 11,2023 at the young age of 64. Marc poured hours of himself into creating a sustainable, profitable company that first and foremost served the customer well.Terri Singletary
Terri has been with Horizon since the very beginning. She plays a critical role in the accounting processes for the company. While she has not spent time in the field, she has been close to the industry for the length of Marc’s career. She is a welcome voice of reason and a great asset in the office for creative thinking with a perspective from outside the industry.
Jon Singletary
Jon began his career in the industry in the early 2000’s working for a major hardware distributor. Having the mechanical and electronic instincts of his Dad, he moved through roles quickly working in field service, sales and technical support. Jon has a passion for solving complex problems and innovating new ways to utilize hardware when others say it cannot be done. Jon is a ‘field guy’ at heart and pours his knowledge into our technicians every chance he gets.
